Responsible management education & sustainability

The University of Waikato has signed the United Nations Commitment to Sustainable Practices of Higher Education.

The declaration, to which more than 200 universities around the world have pledged, was formally ratified this month at the UN Rio + 20 Conference on Sustainable Development.

The commitment pledges the University of Waikato to further incorporate sustainability into its teaching, research, operations and community outreach.

The Waikato Management School is a signatory of the UN Principles of Responsible Management Education.

The principles are Expressed in terms of Purpose, Values, Method, Research, Partnership, and Dialogue.

My research is to understand marketing in, and for, a sustainable society.

I facilitate educational activities to co-create eco-consciousness and management practices consistent with global citizenship.
